LOCAL mountain rescue volunteers were involved in a major search for a missing 43-year-old man from Edinburgh.
Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue volunteers joined Police Scotland in the search for Christopher Silke is somewhere in the Pentland Hills.
He was found safe and well just before 10am.
Inspector Keith Forrester said: "Following the search for Christopher Silke we have now located him safe and well.
" I would like to thank everyone involved for their assistance and concerns for Christopher."
