A 36-year-old man who admitted four offences has been banned from the road for 12 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Scott Burrows, formerly of Kelso, and now living in Teviotdale Court, Hawick, pleaded guilty to possession of a knife, driving while unfit through drugs and two counts of possession of drugs.
The offence happened on the A98 and A68 roads on June 12.
He was also fined £300 for driving while under the influence of drugs and another £120 for the knife offence.
