POLICE are treating the death of a 55-year-old man in Galashiels as "unexplained".
Officers were called to a property in the Langlee Road area of the town on Sunday morning.
A forensic team spent the day inside the flat investigating the circumstances behind the sudden death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 11.10am on Sunday to an address in the Langlee Road area of Galashiels following the sudden death of a 55-year-old man.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
