AN appeal has been launched after a man was assaulted by two teenagers in Galashiels.
The incident happened near the Interchange at 11pm on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 44-year-old male was assaulted by two unknown males.
“The males are described as white, about 14 to 16 years old around five feet in height.
“Male one had dark shaven hair, and was wearing a black top.
“Male two has short blonde hair, and was wearing a pale coloured top.
“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact us on 101 and quote incident no 4040 of January 10.
“Alternatively If you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org”
