31-year-old banned from Gala following fight allegations
A 31-year-old man has been banned from entering Galashiels at night time until the outcome of his trial.
Iain Murphy of Mansionhouse Drive, Glasgow, denies shouting and swearing and challenging others to fight in Bank Street on September 18.
He also pleaded not guilty to breaking a table and a window.
A trial has been fixed for January 28 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
His bail conditions include not entering Galashiels between the hours of 7pm and 7am until the case is resolved.
