TWO more acts have been added to the already long list of performers taking to the Memorial Hall stage this month.

The show on Saturday, February 29 was set to be headlined by Divina de Campo, the second place runner up from the first series of Rupaul's Drag Race UK, where she would be joined by Borders favourite, Lourde Godd, and former X-Factor contestant, Emily Middlemas (performing as 'ili'),

But now, Divina won't be the only Drag Race UK alum to entertain the Borders crowd.

She will be joined by Baga Chipz, who many will have seen perform with Drag Race UK winner, The Vivienne, last month, and Blu Hydrangea.

Phil Walker, from On The Brinck, told us: "RuPaul’s Drag Race UK was the surprise reality TV sensation in 2019. It’s fair to say it took everyone by surprise.

"Not that drag is a new phenomenon.

"On The Brinck Promotions were quick off the mark to bring the stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK to a deserving audience in Scotland. The reaction has been enthusiastic and rapturous.

"Anticipation is high for what might be the best show yet."

And not only will the three performers hit the stage individually, they will also come together to reform their musical trio from the Drag series, the 'Frock Destroyers'.

The three queens became the Frock Destroyers as part of a challenge for the TV show, performing the original song, 'Break Up - Bye Bye', which they'll sing for their Innerleithen audience live on the night.

Phil added: "The trio has expanded their repertoire and have been performing around the country ever since to great acclaim.

"It promises to be a very popular night and is great value; a fact that has been recognised, as tickets have been flying out."

As well as the Frock Destroyers and their special guests, audience members will also be able to enjoy a full bar and a selection of street food.

Tickets are £20 for standing, £25 for balcony seating and £30 for VIP meet and greet tickets, which also include the chance to have a picture and chat with the performers.
