A PSYCHIATRIC nurse who admitted a drink driving offence has been fined £300 and banned from the road for 12 months.
Lisa Broom, 36, of Glenburn Avenue, Newtown St Boswells, pleaded guilty to driving with 148 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood - the limit being 50 milligrammes - on October 18.
She was certified suitable for the Drink Drivers Rehabilitation Scheme which would result in a 25 per cent discount in the length of the ban if successfully completed at her own expense.
