A 23-year-old man accused of being involved in a domestic disturbance at the weekend has been banned from entering Selkirk until the outcome of his trial.
Haydn Hughes, who gave an address in Westruther, appeared from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court and pleaded not guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
A trial date has been set for April 9 with an intermediate diet on March 23.
He was released on bail with the special conditions not to contact two named females or to enter Selkirk unless attending court.
