POLICE have renewed an appeal for help in tracing a missing Galashiels woman.
Melita Hachey hasn't been seen since Friday afternoon.
It is thought the 30-year-old may have headed for the Leaderfoot area near Melrose.
Despite extensive searches during the early hours of Saturday, which included a call out of the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue, Melita has not been found.
Inspector Scott Finlay appealed for the public's help yesterday.
He said: "I am appealing for any persons who may know of her whereabouts or anyone that may have seen a female walking in the area of Melrose, Gattonside or Leaderfoot late on Friday night or early Saturday morning to contact us."
Melita is described as being white, around five-foot-five and having brown bobbed-style hair.
Officers are continuing their search this morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
