A music gig in Selkirk has been called off for reasons linked to coronavirus.
Singer-songwriter Dean Owens had been due to perform with the Southerners at The County Hotel this evening (March 14).
But promoter Allie Fox told fans on Twitter that the event will now be postponed.
He wrote: "String Jam Club regrets that due to the unprecedented situation with #coronavirus both club & management have agreed to postpone tonight’s gig with
@deanowens1 & The Southerners.
"People’s health is paramount & we want everyone to stay safe. Refunds to be issued. Apologies to all."
Dean Owens' fans include Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh and BBC radio presenter Bob Harris.
