BORDERS College sites will be shut from Monday (March 23) in a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Students will study from home, but will have access to online resources.
The college has announced that guidance will be issued in the coming days to help with the move to home-learning.
A college spokesperson said: "As we have previously stated our first priority is that of the health and wellbeing of our students and staff.
"We would like once again to thank and acknowledge the understanding of the college community which includes our students, staff and other stakeholders at this unprecedented time."
Borders College will be adding a FAQ section its website to advise students and staff on any questions they have.
If answers cannot be found online, the college community can email COVID19@borderscollege.ac.uk for more support.
