THE comedian formerly known as Joe Lycett has thanked the Borders General Hospital (BGH) on Twitter.
The 31-year-old funnyman, now legally called Hugo Boss, took to social media at 6.45pm on March 29 in praise of NHS staff.
He wrote: "Just want to say a big thanks to staff at Borders General Hospital who are looking after my pal's dad brilliantly right now.
"And indeed thanks to all our NHS staff. This daft idiot is immensely grateful."
Boss, of Birmingham, has made TV appearances on shows including Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo and 8 Out of 10 Cat.
He changed his name earlier this month in protest against the famous German fashion brand, who had been taking action against small businesses using 'boss' in their names.
