The family of missing man Andrew Moriarty have been contacted by police following the discovery of a body.
The 28-year-old was reported missing from the Kelso area on Sunday, March 1.
Police Scotland confirmed that a body was found in the River Tweed near Upsettlington, west of Norham, at around 1pm today (April 2).
Formal identification has yet to take place, said police, but Mr Moriarty's family have been informed.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death."
