A MAN with a black staffie broke into a house in Kelso in the early hours of today (April 3).

Police are seeking witnesses to the incident at Dickson Place at around 3.30am.

The man entered the house before being disturbed and leaving, police say.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "He is described as white, 5ft 11” and of medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded top under a black puffer-style jacket, dark trousers and had a black staffie dog with him."

The spokesperson added: "If you have any information which could assist please contact the police on 101 quoting incident 387 of the 3rd of April 2020.
