A MAN who ran out of toilet roll received an emergency drop-off by drone recently.
Russ Howey, of Duns, was hugely grateful when friend Scott Cullen came to the rescue at his hour of need.
Video footage captures Mr Cullen flying his drone across the Berwickshire town to deliver two rolls of loo roll during the coronavirus lockdown, The Scotsman reports.
A relieved Mr Howey said: "I cannot understand why people are buying so much toilet roll.
“Yesterday it ran out in the Co-op, Spar and a paper shop. I have a wife and two children so it’s not ideal.
“My friend said he had some so he sent two rolls by his drone. Toilet roll air support."
Footage of the drop-off can be seen on The Scotsman website.
