A HIT and run last month has prompted an appeal from Borders police.
A vehicle struck a white Ford Transit van in Gordon on Thursday, April 23 – but the driver failed to stop.
Now police are seeking information about the incident, which happened between 5.30am and 6.30am, according to officers.
In a Facebook post yesterday (May 26), Scottish Borders Police wrote that the details about the offending vehicle remain "unknown".
The statement reads: "Anyone with any information relating to this incident are [sic] asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0498 of Thursday, April 23, 2020.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
