NHS Borders says it has cleared its wards of coronavirus patients for the first time since the outbreak.
In an update issued at 11.14am today (Tuesday, June 2), the health board said no virus patients are currently receiving treatment – including intensive care.
However, there are 13 suspected cases awaiting test results, according to the update.
A further three virus patients have died since last week, the update says, bringing the total number of hospital deaths to 38.
Recoveries have been achieved by 74 patients so far, according to NHS Borders.
