A GALASHIELS primary school has recorded its own version of a Bruno Mars song to mark the end of term.
Staff and pupils at St Peter’s Primary filmed themselves singing the lyrics to Count on Me, before posting the video online.
Depute head teacher Richard Bramhall said: “Our end of term song is intended to bring a smile to everyone’s face after enduring a challenging time.”
The video can be viewed on Facebook by clicking here.
Mr Bramhall said pupils, staff and parents have been “brilliant” during lockdown.
He said the Parsonage Road school has held a virtual spring fayre (raising more than £2,000), a virtual talent show, a virtual sports week and a virtual Braw Lads’ week.
