A SELKIRK man faces rape charges involving a number of women.
Brian McGlasson, 45, is due to stand trial at the High Court in Glasgow on a total of 14 offences allegedly committed over a lengthy period of time.
They include three charges of assault and rape and another of assault and rape to injury.
McGlasson is also accused of indecent assault, sexual assault and attempted rape.
The indictment also includes two charges of assault to injury, breach of the peace, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and possession of a controlled class B drug.
McGlasson faces two other charges of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
A preliminary hearing into the case has been continued until August 27 at the High Court in Glasgow and bail continued.
