Update - 10.58am, July 6, 2020 - Police say Roy Sawers has been traced and he is "safe and well".
BORDERS police are trying to trace a man who has been reported missing from Selkirk.
Roy Sawers, 55, lives in the Bannerfield area of the town.
Officers are seeking the public's help as part of their efforts to trace him.
Police say: "Roy is described as a white male, tanned complexion, 5ft 8ins, slim build with short brown hair and brown eyes.
"He is thought to be wearing a light-grey long sleeved jumper, faded blue jeans and black canvas trainers, although he may have changed.
"Anyone who may have seen Roy, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3226 of July 5, 2020."
Police added there are "growing concerns" for the 55-year-old.
