A MAJOR British business is closing its site in the Borders.
Menzies Distribution, which delivers newspapers and magazines, is shutting its facility at Tweedside Park, Tweedbank.
A spokesperson for Menzies said: "We have taken the decision to relocate operations from our Galashiels branch and we are working to support impacted employees at this time."

The spokesperson added: "The unprecedented circumstances presented by COVID-19 have meant that we, like many businesses, are in a position where we are shaping a ‘new normal’."
Menzies, set up in 1833, operates from more than 60 locations in the UK.
