A BORDERS supermarket employee has tested positive for coronavirus.
The region recorded three cases over the weekend, bringing the total to 353 since the outbreak began.
The supermarket staff member works at the Morrisons store on Mart Street, Hawick.
A Morrisons spokeswoman said: "One of our colleagues in our Hawick store has tested positive for the coronavirus and we wish them a speedy recovery.
“We have taken steps at the store to ensure it is safe for colleagues and customers."
Radio Borders reports that the Morrisons employee is understood to have returned from a trip to Turkey.
