A FURTHER three people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Borders.

Scottish Government data, published today (September 9), shows that 389 have now tested positive in the region since March.

The health board’s Test and Protect team has been dealing with an outbreak in Hawick in recent days.

Across Scotland, there have been 159 new cases over the past 24 hours – bringing the total to 21,878 since March.

No new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
