THREE men have been charged with attempted murder following a disturbance in a Borders town.
David Adamson, 32, McRae Fairburn, 25, and 28-year-old Baarry Kirsopp - all from Coldstream - appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court yesterday (Thursday, September 10).
They have been accused of assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life, attempted murder and attempted robbery.
Adamson faces a second charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
The court appearance follows an incident in the Hill View area of Coldstream on Tuesday when a 37-year-old man was injured.
All three men made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Bail was refused by Sheriff John Cook and they were remanded in custody and due to appear in court again next week.
