THE Borders recorded has recorded 26 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend.
Scottish Government data, published at 2pm today (Monday, September 21), shows the increase between Friday and today.
On Friday, the region had seen 447 cases since March - but the total has risen to 473.
During the First Minister’s daily briefing this afternoon, Nicola Sturgeon said new lockdown restrictions will "almost certainly" be announced by Wednesday (September 23).
Scotland has recorded 255 positive tests in the last 24 hours.
