EIGHT new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders.
The latest Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (Tuesday, September 29).
The increase in the last 24 hours brings the region's total number of cases since March to 509.
Since September 1, there have been 137 new cases in the Borders.
As reported previously, the local health board says the tally includes some people who live outside the Borders.
