Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with a conspiracy to commit fire-raising.
Police patrols have been increased in the Newton Mearns area after a Ford Fiesta was stopped on Netherton Road around 10.55pm on Tuesday.
The men, aged 22, 26 and 28 are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

Chief Inspector Bryan McGeogh, Area Commander for East Renfrewshire, said: "Whilst investigations are ongoing, there will continue to be additional police patrols carried out in the Newton Mearns area.
"I would like to reassure the community that there is not believed to be any risk to the wider public."
