A FURTHER four people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
The latest Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (Wednesday, October 14).
The increase brings the Borders' total number of cases since March to 589.
Health chiefs also confirmed 1,429 people have tested positive across Scotland since yesterday.
The total number of cases nationally since March now stands at 42,685.
A total of 15 new deaths have also been recorded.
The death toll for Scotland is now 2,572 since the start of the pandemic.
