A BORDERS man who admitted three domestic-related offences has been placed on supervision for 16 months.

David Meek, 28, of Eyemouth, pleaded guilty to charges of assault, possession of an offensive weapon, namely a metal pole, and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.

A two-year non-harassment order was imposed on Meek in Selkirk Sheriff Court, preventing him from having any contact with a named woman.

Meek was also fined £100 for breaching a bail order by being found in a house at Abbey Road, Coldstream, at 1.30am.
