A BORDERS man has admitted possession of indecent videos and images of children.
Alan Cockerill, 23, of Jedburgh, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened at his Wester Ulston home in May last year.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told a forensic examination of his mobile phone discovered 14 pornographic videos - 13 of which were Category A, the most serious.
There were also 18 indecent images of children - four from category A, three from B and 11 from C.
Sheriff Peter Paterson deferred sentence until December 21 for the production of background reports.
He also made Cockerill subject to reporting requirements under the Sexual Offences Act - the length of that order will be determined at the next hearing.
Cockerill’s mobile phone was also forfeited.
