TWO people in the Borders have died with COVID-19 listed on their death certificate.
According to the National Records of Scotland (NRS), two people had COVID-19 mentioned on their death certificate between November 9-November 15.
The official data, published by the NRS today (Wednesday, November 18), does not state whether a death has occurred in a hospital, a care home or in a person's home.
Since the pandemic began, there have now been 83 deaths in the Borders.
Deaths were regularly announced between late March and July 6, but none were reported between July 6 and August 24.
Since August 24, eight deaths have been recorded in the Borders.
