EIGHT new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders over the last 24 hours.
The number of patients in hospital in the Borders with the virus has also increased to nine.
The new figures were released today (Wednesday, November 18) by the Scottish Government.
The number of Borders cases since March now stands at 896.

Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, 54 new deaths have been recorded among people who tested positive in the last 28 days.
This brings Scotland's total number of COVID-19 deaths to 3,377.
Nationally, there have been 1,264 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The total number of Scottish cases since March is 84,523.
