THE Borders has recorded seven cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall figure since March to 1,014.
The Scottish Government published updated statistics at 2pm today (December 4).
There are currently 10 people in hospital in the Borders after positive tests. Yesterday's number was also 10.
Nationally, a further 966 people have tested positive. This brings Scotland's total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 98,686.
Across Scotland, 41 people who tested positive have died in the last 24 hours.
Scotland has now registered 3,889 deaths with COVID-19 recorded on the death certificate.
