A TOTAL of 15 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
Updated figures were released by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 15).
The total number of people in the region who have tested positive since March now stands at 1,144.
There are 21 people in hospital in the Borders with the virus, one more than yesterday (Monday).
Across Scotland, 845 cases were announced in the last 24 hours and 996 people are in hospital with the virus.
