A TEENAGER has admitted being in possession of a knife at a rugby club in the Borders.

Chloe Gallacher, 19, pleaded guilty to having the bladed article without reasonable excuse at Hawick Rugby Club on May 9.

She also broke a window and admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.

Gallacher - who gave an address in Kilmaurs, Ayrshire - assaulted a police constable by kicking him on the body.

Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until February 1 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
