THE Borders has recorded 58 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The data was released by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (Thursday, January 7).
In the Borders there are currently 41 people in hospital with confirmed or suspected coronavirus. The figure is three more than yesterday.
Since March 2020, the Borders has had 2,071 cases. The national total is 143,715.
Nationally there are currently 1,467 people in hospital with COVID-19.
