THREE people in the Borders died last week with coronavirus mentioned on their death certificate, according to new statistics.
The National Records of Scotland (NRS) published an update today (Wednesday, January 13).
In the week of January 4-10, three people in the Borders died with COVID-19 listed on their death certificate, the NRS figures show.
Since the pandemic began, a total of 107 people in the Borders have had the virus listed on their death certificate.
Across Scotland, 384 people died from coronavirus between January 4-10.
