A PERSISTENT offender living in the Borders has been jailed for six months.
Daniel Hamilton, 32, of Buccleuch Road, Selkirk, had previously pleaded guilty in the town’s sheriff court to breaching a court order by entering Kelso and contacting his partner.
He also admitted charges of theft by shoplifting and police assault.
Hamilton had his sentence back-dated to last month when he was first remanded in custody.
