Hawick man Ewan Peddie will be sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh in February, 2021
A BORDERS man convicted of raping and assaulting a child under 13 years of age will be sentenced next month.
Ewan Peddie, 44, from Hawick, was also found guilty of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards a child.
Sentence has been deferred at the High Court in Edinburgh until February 11 for background reports to be considered.
Peddie has been remanded in custody.
