Borders police are appealing for witnesses
AN appeal has been launched after a van was broken into in the Borders.
Police say items were stolen from the Ford Transit during the incident in Tannage Close, Hawick, between 6pm on Sunday (January 31) and 7am on Monday (February 1).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 425 of February 1, 2021.
"Alternatively if you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org"
