THE Borders recorded six new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Tuesday, February 2) show the region has now recorded 2,655 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.
There are now 30 people with coronavirus in hospital, with fewer than five in the intensive care unit (ICU).
A total of 758 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, across Scotland.
