BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Borders man who admitted four offences.
Paul Marshall, 37, of Burnfoot Road, Hawick, pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to two counts of possession of controlled drugs and two charges of firearm certificate breaches.
Marshall had previously been charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs but his guilty pleas to the lesser charges of possession were accepted by the Crown.
Sentence was deferred until March 15 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
