THE Borders has recorded 12 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Wednesday, February 17) show the region has now recorded 2,758 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.
There are currently 12 people with coronavirus in hospital, with fewer than five in the intensive care unit (ICU).
A total of 1,121 people have tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours across Scotland.
