POLICE are seeking witnesses after valuable fishing equipment was stolen from a Borders shop during a break-in at the weekend.
Fin & Game, on Bridge Street in Kelso, was broken into at around 6.30am on Saturday (February 20), according to Borders police.
Officers say the stolen items were worth more than £4,000, with brands including Simms, Scierra and VASS.

A police spokesperson said: “The business premise Fin & Game was broken into and over £4,000 worth of clothing items relating to fishing were stolen.
“The stolen items included the brands Simms, Scierra and VASS.
“If you have any information that may assist with our enquiries please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 871 of February 20, 2021.
“Alternatively if you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org”
