THIRTEEN new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Borders over the weekend.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (March 8), there have now been 2,833 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the region.
And for the eleventh consecutive day there remain fewer than five people in hospital in the Borders with the virus.
Nationally, there are 654 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease from Friday's total of 666 people.
Across Scotland, 205,999 people have tested positive for coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
