THE Borders has recorded a further two cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to Scottish Government data released today (Tuesday, March 9) at 2pm, the total number of positive cases of coronavirus since March last year in the Borders now stands at 2,835.
There are still fewer than five people in hospital with the virus in the Borders.

Nationally, the number of people in hospital with COVID-19 has dropped.
Today's statistics show that there are 614 people in hospital, compared to 654 yesterday (March 8).
Across Scotland 206,465 people have tested positive for coronavirus since the pandemic began.
