FIVE cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
Scottish Government figures released today (March 12) show the number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the region since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,842.
Nationally, Scotland has now recorded 208,429 cases of the virus.
For the fifteenth consecutive day, there are fewer than five people in hospital with COVID-19 in the Borders.
