BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Borders man who admitted possession of an air weapon without the appropriate certificate.
Paul Marshall, 37, of Burnfoot Road, Hawick, was not entitled to have the weapon after previously having been convicted of crime.
He also pleaded guilty to four charges of possession of class A, B and C controlled drugs.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until April 26.
