NO new cases of coronavirus were recorded over the weekend in the Borders.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Monday, March 22), the total number of COVID-19 cases since March 2020 remains at 2,857 – the same as on Friday.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with the virus also remains at fewer than five for the 25th day in a row.
Nationally, a total of 213,888 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began last year.
