NO new cases of coronavirus have been recorded for the fourth day in a row in the Borders.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Tuesday, March 23), the total number of COVID-19 cases since March 2020 remains at 2,857 – the same as on Friday.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with the virus also remains at fewer than five for the 26th day running.
Nationally, a total of 214,383 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began last year.
